Bruxelles-Energie, a sorting centre subsidiary, produces energy from non-recyclable household waste. Since 1984, we have been converting this waste into electricity and heat, contributing to the energy supply of 65,000 households and operating Brussels’ largest district heating system. As a key player in resource circularity and recovery and processing on behalf of the citizens of Brussels, we are constantly innovating to reduce our environmental impact, optimise our production processes and ensure the efficiency of our operations.
To reinforce our teams and support the industrial development of the energy recovery unit, we are looking for a new colleague:
Electrician (M/F/X)

Schedule: Daytime
What will your responsibilities be?
- Plan and carry out regular inspections of electrical installations to detect and anticipate potential malfunctions.
- Intervene in case of breakdowns to diagnose issues and perform repairs quickly and efficiently.
- Report directly to the foreman and demonstrate initiative when necessary.
- Ensure that all interventions comply with current electrical standards (RGIE) and safety protocols.
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections to guarantee compliance of installations.
Desired profile:
- You hold a technical diploma (A2 level) in industrial or residential electricity.
- You have initial experience in an industrial environment.
- You are familiar with and strictly adhere to RGIE regulations.
- You hold valid BA4/BA5 certificates.
- You have a boom lift license and are comfortable operating lifting equipment.
- You are fluent in French or Dutch (C2 level), both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or English and/or French is considered an asset.
